Relatively new methods of assisted reproduction include cryopreservation of eggs. Thanks to this ultra-fast freezing technique, it has become a relatively successful method that allows patients to preserve their fertility before cancer treatment, chemotherapy or radiotherapy. Oocyte cryopreservation can also be used by women who do not currently have a suitable partner and are afraid of losing their ovarian reserve by the time they do have one. We will talk about egg freezing with embryologist Mrs. Mgr. Ingrid Straszer.
