Gabriela Kaňová, DVM, PhD.
MVDr. Gabriela Kaňová, PhD., serves as the lead embryologist at the ReproMedica reproductive medicine clinic in Bratislava, where she has been part of the team since 2025. She has nearly 20 years of professional experience in the fields of assisted reproduction, clinical embryology, and andrology.
Throughout her professional career, she has combined extensive experience in an IVF laboratory with a strong scientific background in reproductive biology. In her doctoral research at the Slovak Academy of Sciences, she focused on the growth and development of oocytes and preimplantation embryos.

She worked at the Center for Gynecology and Assisted Reproduction for nearly two decades. Starting in 2010, she served as the head of the tissue facility, where she was responsible for the embryology and andrology laboratories, laboratory processes, and quality management.
2004–2006 | Researcher, Slovak Academy of Sciences
She conducted laboratory research in the field of reproductive biology and published in international scientific journals, including *Molecular Reproduction and Development*, *Zygote*, and *Theriogenology*.
